Biography

Jodi Morris is a modern venture guide. She believes it’s never too late to rewrite our story, redefine success, and invest our talent, time and money towards our version of impact. She partners with individuals as a Success Coach and curates immersive small group Venture Travel that awakens our thinking. She invests in impactful companies and girls’ education non-profits. A writer, speaker, investor, and traveler, her passion is connecting people and ideas globally.

Previously, Jodi spent 22+ years in the investment management industry, leading U.S. business-building initiatives at a start-up and notable firms like JP Morgan and Matthews Asia. Combining her analytical mindset, education-based communication style and natural ease as a connector, she led teams that raised billions of dollars in innovative investment strategies.

Having traveled to 65+ countries with a particular emphasis on developing Asia and Africa, Jodi is inspired by individuals with ideas, passion, grit and goals. She invests in entrepreneurs globally, credits travel for opening her eyes to the critical role of women, and believes that girls’ education is the best investment of our lifetime. She regularly shares her personal story and global insights.

Jodi is a member of the International Women’s Forum (IWF) and served as President of the IWF Northern California Legacy Foundation. She is a Renew Capital and Portfolia investor and CFA® Charterholder. She invests in girls’ education through global non-profits Room to Read, U-Go, Rise Up, Nurturing Minds/SEGA and SHE-CAN. Jodi graduated with honors from Northwestern University with a degree in Mathematical Methods in the Social Sciences (MMSS) and Economics. Raised in the Midwest, she spent three decades living in New York City and San Francisco before settling with her husband in Santa Fe, New Mexico
